18 November 2023 - Hillandale Gardens- Bathurst NSW Wedding Photographer
As soon as I met with these guys and their adorable little girls for their pre- wedding meeting, I knew it was going to be an amazing wedding!
It was a beautiful sunny spring day in the spectacular Hillandale Gardens - a beautiful wedding venue just outside of Bathurst NSW.
Only a week before their wedding, the couple had decided to upgrade to have their full day captured! I love being able to capture all aspects of the day for my couples as their wedding photographer, so that I can provide the whole story of their wedding day!
Starting with the boys, I arrived to find that everybody was ready to go, making my job that much easier! I captured some cute pictures with Tayla & Toby's 3 little girls, then moved on to the groomsmen! These first pictures set the tone for the day, which I knew was going to be super fun and full of shenanigans!
Then off to see the girls, where it was all systems go, with hair and makeup fully underway! I made the suggestion to have a first look with Tayla's dad and proceeded to ask him to wait patiently outside until her hair and makeup was finished and she was in her wedding dress! This was a truly beautiful and emotional moment, and I am so happy that my suggestion helped to add an extra element of magic to her wedding day.
Onto the ceremony, where the bridal party made quite an entertaining entrance, followed by Tayla and both of her parents. A beautiful ceremony, complete with a family marriage certificate that Tayla and Toby's girls were able to sign, and a few other beautiful wedding traditions.
Then we snuck off for some bridal portraits around the magical Hillandale gardens. Tayla had requested for her bridal party photos to be heaps of fun, so after a couple of obligatory photos, I made some crazy suggestions and everybody was on board, including a champagne spray - a super fun way to set the mood for photos!
We then explored further throughout the gardens, with just the happy couple and myself as their wedding photographer, allowing them some quiet moments to let their marriage sink in and capture their beautiful connection!
Then we headed back for the reception, with a beautifully decked out function room. Following the formalities with a beautiful cake and some heartfelt speeches, the dance floor got started with a father daughter dance followed by the couple's first dance! Then everybody got involved in the dance floor, and the party was well underway to make for a really fun night!
